I had bought this brush maybe a year ago I think for blush and didn't really like it for that so it sort of sat lonely and unused in my brush case. Then I washed my Kabuki brush which I had been using for my allover face powder brush and it didn't completely dry overnight so I grabbed try this one. Wow!!! It's now my favorite powder brush! It's soooo soft, picks up tons of powder and is easy to maneuver around my face. And for travel it's perfect. This might now be my favorite Elf brush and I have a bunch! Wish I had used it properly sooner!

Buy At Your Own Risk
There's a lot of inconsistencies among Elf's brush line. I bought this exact brush about two years ago and used it so much that I thought I could do with another. I've experienced no shedding with my first one and I've washed it quite a bit and it's a very functional and multi-purpose brush.. but the new one I received isn't as dense or soft or as compact. Irritating because it's the exact same brush but not the same quality which is what you'd expect. So who know's what you'd receive - hopefully a good one. I'm afraid to even wash my new one because I can just SENSE a mass shedding.

Great for foundations
I use this for cream foundations and powders. I like the coverage and it is high quality. It's stands up for washing and being hauled all over given it is a staple in my make up bag. I would recommend.

Setting the entire face
Good flat top for setting powder, blush or bronzer. Gets into the corners of the nose when i set powder

Great brush especially for the price. I use it for blush and powder and it works well. Plus it doesn't shed bristles and is soft.

Good if you need to pack powder on
I'll use this occasionally if I need to target my oily forehead, but otherwise it packs powder too densely for my liking and often leaves me a bit cakey. The shape makes it difficult to use under the eyes and around the nose.

Super Soft - Picks Up Powder Really Well!
I bought this brush a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It is super soft and actually picks up my face powder super well. I am no makeup guru but I love this brush for its quality and price! Highly recommend!

Fits good in the hand

The Magic Brush
