I love all my Elf brushes and products! I was reading a review where someone said the face brushes shed. You should try the Studio Line, I have never had a problem of shedding, but the Studio line is my favorite in the face brushes along with the essentials, but I have never had them shed. I would follow the washing instructions, be very gentle and use e.l.f cleaning products. If they still shed I'm at a loss unless you got a misfortune. I really love the feel of the Studio powder, complexion, and blush brushes, so soft and apply so smooth:) I am excited to extend my brushes even more! I am also a user of MAC and Bobbi Brown, along with Lancome and Channel!

Decent starter brush set
I bought this almost half a year ago and the brushes have been working great except for two of them... The third and fifth brush from the right, the big powder brush and traditional foundation brush, both left me with improperly placed bristles after I (properly) deep cleaned them. The powder brush isn't as soft anymore and is permanently displaced - if that makes sense ; and same with the foundation brush. While I use majority of the eye brushes on a daily basis, I now only use the foundation brush to define the contour on my cheeks. And also, the foundation brush head often falls apart from the brush handle. Final thoughts on this brush set: save your money and invest in a more stable and higher quality brush set! Note: I am in LOVE with 90% of E.l.f. brushes, so this is in no way implying that E.l.f. brushes are bad! They have many many amazing brushes, I would just not recommend getting this particular set :)

Can’t beat price
This brush set had every type of brush I needed, the foundation brush especially is one of the best I’ve tried. I also love the minimalist design.

Great for beginners
I’m not one to wear makeup everyday nor do I know all the technicalities of it LOL. These are great for me because the description on the brush and bag helps me identify what each brush is to be used for. Definitely good for women just getting into doing makeup

can not beat the price
this is my second set of these brushes and you can not beat the value. Are they the world's best ? No but are they nice and do the job ? yes . A great gift since it looks like more $$ than it is . buy yourself an extra set to use for traveling .

Perfect for the Price
I purchased these brushes a month ago and I love them! Before I had been using Real Techniques brushes which are pretty good, but when I used the ELF ones, I realized that I was wrong. Elf brushes are effective and great for the price. They are literally perfection, just be sure not to soak them in water, since they are made of wood.
