near perfect lip tints

my local target recently added a new elf panel that included these sheer lipsticks and i was very intrigued by the packaging and details of the product. i picked up wild peach and dragon fruit. wild peach definetly lives up to it description.. so emollient and such a beautiful sheer wash of color. i love her so much she's already in my purse ready for regular use. i wish i could say the same for the dragon fruit shade. the finish was more of a full-opacity lipstick with some slip to it. i dont hate it, i just wish it was much more sheer for a worry-free application. i'm really tempted to purchase other shades as long as they have the same finish as wild peach. overall such a beautiful product, thank you elf!

Not Sheer Enough

I picked these up to review for you guys and also because, I can never have too many lip products!! The packaging is aesthetically pleasing. Feels very similar to the the Jelly collection of last summer, (I believe it was last summer!) These are not scented at all though, which is very nice!! When you roll the lip product up, it feels loose. It is just a very satisfying feeling. The cap clicks on so you know it is securely in place as well. The product rolls up at an angle to make it easier to apply on your lips. That being said, you will definitely need to use a mirror to apply this product. It is not a lip balm. I tried Dragon Fruit, Wild Peach and Grapefruit. Dragon Fruit is a more pink than mauve shade that is definitely not sheer. It is a nice color, but it is not unique. It looks good with a lip liner. The texture reminds me of a balm I have from Kiehls, very slippy and nourishing. Grapefruit is a bubble gum pink shade that would be great for Spring. Once again, it is not sheer, and the shade is not really one that is unique either...at least to me. Wild Peach, like the first reviewer mentioned, is sheer and it is my favorite of the bunch. It is a lovely coral color and just washes your lips with a hint of color. I like to place lip liner all over my lips and pop this on top for a no makeup look. Very fresh, pretty and just the right pop of color. All of them are nourishing to dry lips, which I love especially in this dry winter weather. The price point is a bit high I feel. Especially when you can pick up a Srsly Satin lippie for 3.00. Final thoughts: I recommend Wild Peach. If you already own lip sticks that are the other colors than you probably do not need these. I recommend these as a fun purchase not a need.I do not see myself repurchasing.
