How to use an eyeshadow "c" brush:
- Dip the brush into eyeshadow and apply to eyelid starting from the inner corner.
- To create the smoky eye, apply the brush tip on the outward corner of the eye by pressing the color in a C shape from the lash line up.
- Flip the C on the right eye so it creates an outward curve.
- Blend color inward for definition.
- Clean weekly with Brush Shampoo for optimum brush health.

It works great
I love using this brush. It fits great on my lid and apply shadow nicely. It's very very soft and quite dense. The bristle are a bit longer than in the product pic though. No shedding. I wasn't quite sure the difference between this brush and the essentials eyeshadow brush so I bought both. This studio c brush is much softer and has more flexibility in the bristles while the essentials brush is shorter more dense and stiff and not quite as soft. Both apply well however.

Bristles came right out!
I didn't even get to use this brush. I'd like to wash my new brushes before using them for hygiene purposes. When I washed this brush the first time, all the bristles just came out! What a waste of money! Poor quality. I can't use it at all. Would not recommend it to anyone!

Great, inexpensive brush for applying mattes
I AM IN LOVE with this eyeshadow brush. I put 2 in my basket every time I order from this website or Ulta. It picks up and distributes product beautifully, just the way I like to do it. Be careful, though, if you are using a softer pressed matte shade, you can easily pick up too much product on your brush, which will in turn cause eyeshadow fallout. Apply in a couple of layers. I have been using these brushes for years. I still have four of the white handled wooden ones that I added to my collection many years ago.

Great brush
I find this brush good for applying colour with as well as blending. Elf brushes are comfortable to use and soft on the skin.

What does it mean "c" brush

"C" brush doesn't stand for crease. It just means that the shape of the bristles are in a flat "C" shape.

Is this better than the $1.00 eyeshadow brush?

The C-brush is stiff and synthetic. It doesn't apply lid-colour as easily as the $1 brush in my opinion. It picks up a lot of powder and drops a lot of it before I can pack it on the lid. Get the white handled one. Better yet, get 3 for the price of one and use them for various colours.
