Yay Grey!
I was very happy to see ELF has made this in a grey shade, usually difficult to find, which is surprising considering how popular women deciding to grow out their silvers has become. It's a natural, cool-toned shade that works well with my coloring. Has a soft look, so much better than trying to use a black pencil with a very light hand. Goes on evenly without streaking, and lasts all day for me.

Blonde is dark!
I bought this “waterproof” version brow lift eyebrow color in blonde as I have been using the blonde NON waterproof version for a couple of years. This version is noticeably darker than the other. Much too dark for me. I was so disappointed!

Wears well but NOT blonde. Why only 2*
The non-waterproof $3 brow pencil is the perfect blonde. Thought I bought taupe but it reads blonde on package. Thought maybe packaged wrong? No one ever responded to my email...included pictures of both and you can clearly see the big difference. Hope they correct this. Now I just use the non-waterproof and lock it down with the clear brow gel. I can't leave the house without brows. Bummer as I love the waterproof formula. Please fix it elf. Only 2 stars due to color as can't use. Like the formula and value.

My Favorite!

One of the best shades of brown pencil for me! I have red hair but mixed brown eyebrows—not quite red, not quite brown. Love the taupe shade for a subtle fill. Love that it’s duo purpose.

Stands up to Key West humidity!
The Key West 80 degree weather and humidity last week put the waterproof claim to the test and IT PASSED! As long as I dabbed at the sweat on my brows and didn't wipe, the brow pencil stayed in place and looked great all day. The blond is a bit dark (as mentioned in other reviews), but it gives me actual eyebrows instead of the sparse-looking white/gray hairs I have without the brow pencil. And the price is excellent!

I bought elf instant lift brow pencil in blond to replace one that was empty. The new one is a darker blond. Did you change the blond color? I want the lighter one. It says 21970 elf instant lift brow pencil in blonde blond 3G01MR on it.
