Excellent for the price.
I'd wanted a kabuki style brush since I visited Illamasqua's Beak Street shop in London and the makeup artist used it to apply my foundation. I didn't, however, want to pay a ton of money for it. At a tenth (yes, a tenth!) of the price of a more expensive brand's brush you'll get very similar results with this one. While it does lose a few bristles, it's not excessive, and the brush should last you a while before replacing it. It puts foundation on in a way which gives great coverage (but doesn't look cakey), and my skin looked flawless after using it. I bought the larger (body) kabuki brush to apply powder with. This is an excellent buy, and a great product. Don't hesitate!

Inconsistent quality
I bought one of these brushes, incredibly soft and wonderfully dense. I loved using it to blend out my base. I bought another to give to my sister. When it was still brand new, it started shedding heavily and is now utterly useless and a waste of money. Quality control issues like this have put me off from buying from e.l.f. in the future.

I like to use this brush for powder and to melt my blush, contour, and brozer into my foundation.

Awesome brush
I got this while I was in college, at least 3.5 years ago. It's still in great shape. Love the way it feels and it's very versatile, too.

good
i like it. it works really well for powder applications (powder foundation for me) and i’ve used it for awhile. not easy to store imo but i don’t mind it. and it’s easy to use, not scratchy—if anyone says it is, (a) it probs needs cleaning, or (b) they’re being too rough with it but genuinely it isn’t scratchy.

Wouldn't recommend.
The brush genuinely hurt to use. Like my face would be red after use, it didn't work at all.

Would you say this brush is suitable to be used for putting a light bit of bronzer on the face?

I personally use this for bronzer and I absolutely love it!! I also do not wear too much bronzer because I am fairly pale, so from personal experience, it is perfect for a not too heavy bronzer look!

A kabuki brush is very short and compact. the bristles are very dense and it is perfect for a bunch of uses! I personally used it for powder, but now I use it for bronzing.

I teach in a high school. One day a student came into the classroom and sat down in her seat. She placed small dots of liquid foundation all over her face. Then she used a Kabuki brush to blend it in. The brush was at a right angle to her face. She placed it all over her face until the foundation blended it into her face. I had never seen a facial makeup brush used for this purpose. I just bought mine, in the Philadelphia airport while traveling, hoping to use it with liquid foundation. We will see!
