Don't get 1 of these .... get 5!!!
This small crease brush is the perfect shape and size for my eyes. I use it in and above the crease (I have hooded eyes), on the inner corners and under the brow. The bristles are very soft and the small domed shape makes it perfect for precise application. It's also great for applying shimmer shades on the lid and for blending. I use this brush more than any other so I purchased 3 more for myself and 2 as gifts. I've had them for over a year and they wash up beautifully and don't shed. .

You pay for what you get
Okay so I used this on my crease and it was great at first. But then I washed it with the elf Brush Shampoo and the bristles just started falling apart and when it dried they looked really ruff. The three dollar brushes are definitely worth the investment! But, save your money on the one dollar brushes by not buying them.

Depends on what you're going for
If you're into very detailed and precise looks, then you would absolutely love this brush. I found this to be quite dense for an eye crease brush and can be quite messy, because it's so small and holds so much product.

Perfect for hooded eyes
This brush is perfect for adding shadow to the crease to lift hooded eyes. I use it with the shadow sticks and the cream eye shadow. Haven't washed it yet, but so far so good!

Good size, okay quality
This is great for the price. The size and shape are great, and the bristles are good. However, it does fall apart faster than a more expensive brush would.

I bought this brush couple of years ago, after washing the bristles started sliding out of the metal part. I won't recommend this brush.

Is it synthetic or animal hair?
joannej_1974

Synthetic. The bristles are very soft but also dense, so it picks up product easily.

If I was to buy one brush for all of my eyeshadow, which would you suggest? Is there any brush that would work decently for laydown, crease, and blending?
joannej1974

Definitely this (e.l.f. Eye Crease Brush)! I have 4 of them and use them for everything on your list. They are also small enough for detail work and to line under the eyes. Soft bristles that pick up, apply and blend product flawlessly. Oh, and they're $1.00!!

Is the shape round or flattened and what is the diameter of the brush?

the brush is round, not flattened. The diameter is around the size of your pinky so 0.75cm
