Waaaaayyyyy Better!
I was a bit skeptical at first b/c of the shimmers line, but this baby here beats the shimmer eyeliner(s) out of the park! It picks up on the water line so well that it doesn't need to be swatched on with a heavy-handed-- as like the shimmer eyeliner(s). It can be smudged out perfectly, and still maintain pigmentation and it can upscale the eye look to even more dimensions. Only thing I wish is for some more variation of colors, as like reds, yellow, nude and etc. Keep up with this formula for the eyeliner pencils.

not suitable for the waterline
I was hoping that these would be a more affordable alternative to the NYX Slide On Liners but sadly these are more dry. The sharpener in the cap, while convenient, leaves the pencil exposed to the air at all times because of the slit in the cap. You might as well leave them uncapped. This packaging design leaves the eyeliner feeling dry on the waterline and doesn't allow for product to easily glide on. Even when I got the color to show up, it would fade after a couple hours. Overall: not even worth $1 unless you use it to line the upper lash line

Goes on easy Good Staying power
Best Pencil Liner ever. Bought this on a whim as I had pretty much given up on pencil liners. The roll up ones break too easily I the others are always dull and sometimes just plain don't work. I thought the sharpener was a gimmick or wouldn't work but with the tiny sharpener on the top it is always sharpened a bit. I think the sharpener takes of the oils and residue after every use. Just wish it came in more colors.

Nothing better than a great shimmer black pencil w
This is one of my all time favourites. Yes, I’d love an electric blue color. The cap alone is indispensable because it works and the liner is great.

Love This Liner
This is such a great liner, it’s probably my favorite one actually. It has a smooth application and lasts all day. It’s also great for anyone new to eyeliner because of how easy it is to apply.

Yes! I am a guy and love using it on the water line. Gives a subtle look but makes eyes really stand out. Doesn't hurt and you don't feel them.

Please describe eye pencils in terms of how they set. I want it creamy and easy to apply and then I want it to stay put. If it has to be set with a powder to stop it smudging I don't need it. Does satin mean greasy?

No, Satin does not mean greasy. Satin finishes are neither matte or shimmer, they are more a luminous creamy soft finish, just like satin itself, which the finish gets its name from. For no smudging, I would recommend a matte finish instead!
