Effective but Drying

Very effective in removing makeup. The texture is more of a solid that you use the little spoon it comes with to take it out and it melts as you rub it into your hand. It smells good and worth the money. The only issue I have is it dries my face out.

Great makeup remover.

I have used this product before and really like it! It seems to be a simple formula and takes makeup off easily. I like that it doesn’t have a strong smell and I like how easily it melts. I also find its affordable compared to others on the market. I find its a great alternative to wipes and doesn’t irritate my skin the way some makeup wipes do.

Will use whole tub!

A little goes a long way with this product. I found adding water a bit helps with feeling clean after using this product. the lack of scent is great. However the packaging could be better.

No Greasy Residue

I wanted to like the e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, but unfortunately, it broke me out due to the oils in it. As someone with acne-prone skin, I suspect that’s the reason. That being said, I can see this working really well for other skin types, especially if you don’t struggle with breakouts. It does an amazing job at melting off all of my makeup, even stubborn waterproof formulas, which I love. However, when I use it around my eyes, it tends to make my vision cloudy to the point where it’s hard to see for a moment, which is a little annoying. On a positive note, it doesn’t leave any greasy residue once washed off, which is great. Oh and it does have a pleasant yet strong spa-like scent, so if scented products bother you I would avoid it all together. Overall, it does a great job at cleansing, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work for my skin, so I’m giving it 3 stars.

I like to use this to take off my makup at the end of the day and then double cleanse with my normal cleanser after, and it's just a great combination for my skin!

I love how light weight and smooth this goes on. Elf gas scored again with this amazing product. I highly recommend. I love how there's no scent to it. It melted the makeup right off.
